For two hours you will be able to experience the entire process, fun and relaxing: - stroll into the garden to pick fragrant rose petals - simmer them into sweet jam - knead soft dough, fill it with the jam, and shape each little cake by hand. - put the cakes in oven While they bake, the whole kitchen smells like a flower market. Then comes the best part: biting into your own golden, flaky cakes—still warm and bursting with rose flavor. Meet Your Host: Jing moved to Dali in 2011, after taking a bike journey through Sichuan and Tibet. In 2017, she began growing edible roses, dreaming of making flower cakes that are both healthy and delicious. Her cozy garden and sunlit kitchen have since become a warm and welcoming stop for many travelers seeking a taste of Dali’s charm. Perfect for: families, solo travelers, couples, and anyone curious about local food culture.
